How can I make an easy Halloween snack mix?

One of the things I love most about this recipe is that it’s easy enough for the kids to help… and I love getting my kids in the kitchen with me.

This is a NO-BAKE recipe that you can easily make in 20 minutes or less for a party or just to have fun with the family. It tastes really good too!

Ingredients

  • 1 regular box of Chex cereal
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mini Reese’s cups unwrapped
  • 1 cup chocolate melts (melted)
  • Freezer Bag to mix

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix melted chocolate with Chex cereal until evenly coated
  2. Pour cake mix in large freezer bag
  3. Shake Chex cereal in freezer bag with cake mix until combined. (Make sure to zip it up first)
  4. Put your Chex mixture back in the large bowl and mix in candy corn and Reese’s candy
  5. Serve at home or on the go in plastic bags. Put in small bags to gift or hand out as favors.
