What I love most about fall and winter holidays is the food. We have some memorable recipes that have been passed down and we try some new ones each year.
Stuffed pork roast is one of my favorites. The stuffing makes it taste so amazing and it is great for a holiday meal.
Christmas is going to be so different this year celebrating at home with just our family. So I want to make it as normal and fun as possible with a nice dinner and I know this stuffed pork roast will be a beautiful centerpiece dish my family will love.
Even though it’s not possible to have a large family gathering for the holidays this year there are still a lot of ways to make them special.
Right now you can enter the #ShareTheHolidaySweepstakes by clicking here, where you can enter for a chance to win daily $100 Walmart gift cards! You could also win a grand prize trip to visit loved ones (a $2,500 value).
As an added bonus you’ll receive a FREE gift from Walmart, a digital cookbook download full of favorite holiday recipes (including this one)!
I love shopping at Walmart during the holidays because it’s close to home and I save so much money. It’s especially convenient this year because they have grocery pickup and delivery. So, I can shop from the comfort of my home and they will put all the groceries in my trunk for me!
I like to cook my stuffed pork roast uncovered. It gives it more color on top, which I like for serving for a holiday party or family get-together.
Since this recipe is a bacon-wrapped pork loin, cooking it uncovered gives it that crispy golden brown color that looks really pretty in a holiday spread
Making a holiday stuffed pork roast is soooo easy, especially using STOVE TOP Stuffing and OSCAR MAYER Bacon, which speed up the process a bit!
Using a high quality bacon, such as OSCAR MAYER helps hold the roast together better while it’s baking in the oven.
This roast is the perfect size to feed your family at home and it will look beautiful on the table too.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Bake Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes
Serves 8
4. On a cutting board, use a sharp knife to begin cutting the tenderloin down the middle lengthwise, but don’t cut it all the way through. May need to repeat on right and left side if it’s a thick tenderloin.
5. With a meat tenderizer, flatten the tenderloin until it is flat enough to easily hold the filling, about ½-1 inch thick.
6. Spread the filling out over the tenderloin, leaving about an inch around the edges for rolling.
7. Start rolling the tenderloin back up, lengthwise.
8. Wrap your tenderloin in bacon until it is covered and place in a casserole dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, facing down where the edges of the bacon meet.
9. Bake for 35 minutes, bacon should be golden brown. Serve with steamed mixed veggies.
Delicious entree for a holiday meal or winter dinner. Your family will love this beautiful Holiday Stuffed Pork Roast!
