Holiday Turkey Sliders | Easy Dinner or Christmas Appetizer

This post is sponsored by Smart & Final. All content is my own.

Easy meals during the holidays are no brainers because I am so busy Christmas shopping. One of my go-to’s are these Holiday Turkey Sliders with yummy cranberry sauce.

Sliders are little, but that makes them perfect for little hands during dinner time and for bite size appetizers when serving guests.

They are also oh so easy to make… I’m talking less than 30 mintues.

Read below for my Holiday Turkey Sliders recipe and tips to save on meals during the holidays.

Save on Holiday Groceries

Are you entertaining this year, taking an appetizer to a holiday potluck, or just trying to figure out how to budget family meals with Christmas shopping?

Don’t worry… I’ve got some ideas to save you grocery money so you have more for Christmas gifts.

  • Choose easy budget friendly meals for the month of December. I like meals like these sliders because they are quick, easy, and don’t break the budget.
  • Make a list before you shop so you don’t get tempted to buy things you don’t need.
  • Shop at a warehouse store like Smart & Final where you can get bulk items for less without having to purchase a membership.
  • Order online for grocery delivery (Smart & Final has recently introduced this service in their app and I love it!)
  • Don’t forget to save digital coupons before you shop.

How to make the best Christmas Turkey Sliders

If you love holiday food you will love these sliders. You can use sliced deli turkey or even leftover turkey from your Christmas dinner, which is even better.

Serve them on a fancy platter with toothpicks in the middle for a holiday appetizer or bake them up and feed them to your family for dinner.

Sliders are a budget friendly meal that can feed a large family including picky kids. I have two picky little ones that absolutely love these.

Ingredients:

  • Pack of 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 Pack sliced turkey (or leftover holiday turkey)
  • 1 Pack Gouda or Gruyere Cheese Sliced
  • 2 tbs. honey mustard
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a greased baking sheet.
  2. Slice the King’s Hawaiian Rolls in half.
  3. Lay the bottom half of bread on the pan and spread cranberry sauce over the top
  4. Layer turkey slices then cheese slices
  5. In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and honey mustard
  6. Spread egg mixture evenly over the underside of the other half of bread
  7. Place the top half of bread on top of the bottom half
