Join Care: Send Letters of Hope to Children Who Want an Education

Isn’t it crazy the simple things in life that we take for granted?

Right now there are children around the world struggling to get an education, to learn.

We are so lucky in our lives to be provided with a free education, getting support from our parents and loved ones. Feeling encouraged to succeed every day.

I’m so excited to be partnered with Care.org today to spread some awarness about child education across the world. They are currently working on empowering young children in countries less fortunate to get an education, which is so important!

This is Moni, an 11 year old fourth grader. She has always done well in school and wakes up every morning at 6AM to go. Her favorite thing about school is her teachers, who inspire her to study and take care of her at school.
Moni’s main goal is to do well in school so she can get a job and take care of her family, whom she has watched struggle for years. She knows that she can reach that goal as long as her family’s finances allow.
After helping with chores, cooking, and fetching water, Moni is able to eat dinner and work on her school work until 9pm.
These are my children:
Jonas is 8 years old, only a few years younger than Moni. He too wakes up at 6AM every morning to get ready for school.
He also loves his classroom and his teachers, who take very good care of him while he is at school.
Jonas has wild ambitions to become a YouTuber or comic book writer someday.
When he gets home from school he has free time to play and have a snack, time to do homework, chores, dinner and then bedtime at 7pm.
Unlike Moni, Jonas doesn’t carry the burden of his parents finances. He isn’t worried about taking care of his family financially or getting a job right after school.
Although Jonas has chores, he gets more time to play, doesn’t have to fetch clean water, and is able to go to bed at a much earlier time than Moni.
This is Juliana. She is only one year old, so she isn’t worried about school yet.
Just like Moni she wakes up at 6AM to get ready to take her brother to school. She is learning a lot at home from her mom and will always have love and support on her journey of learning and getting an education from both of her parents.
It’s amazing how many similarities these kids have. Both with hopes and dreams. The only difference is the amount of support they have in achieving those dreams.
