The Easiest Way to Keep Guacamole Fresh

It’s Superbowl weekend! I don’t know about you, but whenever we have any type of family get together I love to have a nice, fresh bowl of guacamole with chips to snack on.

Fresh guac is always a big hit with family and friends too. I also love that it’s easy to make and serve to guests, since I am a pretty busy mom.

Today I’ve partnered with Melissa’s Produce and Casabella to share how we make our yummy fresh guac and keep it fresh. This will really come in handy if you are making it the day before or want to keep your leftover guac fresh to snack on during the week. Keep Guacamole Fresh

The Easiest Way to Keep Guacamole Fresh

We got fresh avocados, garlic, onions, and seasoning delivered to us from Melissa’s produce. Not only was this such a convenient way to shop for produce, but it came fresh and perfectly ripe to make our guacamole!

Here’s What You Need:

We used all the fresh ingredients shown above to make our guacamole:

  • 4 Fresh Avocados Peeled and Sliced
  • 2 Tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 clove Elephant Garlic minced
  • 4 White Pearl Onions minced
  • Kosher Salt to taste

Here’s What To Do:

  1. In a medium sized bowl mash avocados, italian seasoning, Elephant Garlic, and white pearl onions. (We used Casabella’s 4 ‘n 1 Avocado Tool)
  2. Add salt to taste.
  3. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!

So easy, right!?

We served our guac in Casabella’s Guac-Lock with Chip Container. I love this serving tray with convenient guacamole container in the middle.

You can take the Guac-Lock out of the serving tray and it seals closed to keep your guacamole fresh for leftovers or if you are planning on serving the next day!

  • My favorite occasion to eat guacamole is usually for game days. I also like to eat it when I want a light snack ..

  • Occasion? Who needs an Occasion? I make Guacamole every week at least! Avocados are in season now and at a great price too! I have never made it with Italian seasoning though; I'll have to try that next.

  • Anytime we are having guests, especially hosting a game night. It makes a great snack, but I also happen to love guacamole anytime.

  • Any time is a perfect occasion to serve guacamole! I love avocados, and could eat fresh made guacamole everyday if I would allow myself!! (haha) .. I love to put fresh diced roma tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and S&P in my guacamole! One thing that I do not like though, is how quickly avocados/guac goes bad! This would be an extremely useful win for me! Thanks for the chance!

    • Hi Ashley! There are so many great ways to make guac! I love using cilantro too when I have it. Thanks for stopping by. :)

  • I love guacamole! I throw a little bit of fresh cilantro, lemon and lime juice to get that crisp fresh taste!
