Marinated Chicken Tacos Recipe | Easy Grilled Street Tacos

This post was sponsored by Better Than Bouillon as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Making marinated chicken tacos takes simple street tacos to the next level. The marinated chicken is so tender and flavorful you’ll literally never want to have your tacos with anything else.

Since we live in Southern California street tacos are pretty much a weekly staple at our house.

We like to mix our tacos up and make them different ways.

BUT… my personal favorite is chicken and it’s because of the marinade. Don’t miss the most amazing chicken marinade recipe for street tacos below!

Should you marinate chicken?

Marinating chicken will make the chicken in your street tacos more tender and flavorful than if it weren’t marinated.

The marinade tenderizes the chicken and whatever you put in the marinade will soak into the chicken adding flavor that will carry over as it cooks.

Can I marinate chicken for 24 hours?

You could marinate your chicken for 24 hours. However, it really only needs to be marinated for 1-2 hours.

Sometimes when I am busy and meal prepping I will through the chicken in the marinade the night before. Put it in a freezer bag and leave it in the fridge until the next day when you’re ready to cook.

The Best Grilled Chicken Marinade Ingredient

I’ve found the most amazing ingredient for any chicken marinade.

Better Than Bouillon is the perfect ingredient to add so much flavor to your marinades.

It’s different than using canned broth or cubes because it’s a concentrated paste.

Unlike canned broth Better Than Bouillon has a longer shelf life and it doesn’t leave any grittiness like the cubes.

The flavor of Better Than Bouillon is incredible. The smell alone when you open the jar is amazing and I was impressed with how good it made our chicken taste.

You can really use it to marinate anything because Better Than Bouillon makes so many flavors including Chicken, Beef, Vegetable, Garlic, Fish, Mushroom. Chicken, Beef, and Vegetable are available in low sodium.
