Isn’t Halloween the funnest time to make sweet treats? I love making spooky desserts like my cheesecake mousse cups and orange cookies for my kids.
We have a Halloween party at grandma’s house every year and these dessert cups are my go-to.
You can make them literally the day of Halloween in 10-20 minutes. So, you’ll still have time for pumpkin carving, costume prep, and more Halloween fun.
Dessert cups are great for a dessert table because they are usually cheap and easy to put together.
Along with tablecloths, bulk Halloween candy, and some decor, you can find the best cups for dessert cups at Smart & Final!
They sell the cups I used (crystal clear tumblers) in bulk and also the ingredients in bulk, so I can get enough for our Halloween party, don’t forget you can order online in a pinch.
If you shop at Smart & Final through November 5, 2019 you can purchase a mobile to sign and hang in store.
These mobiles benefit pediatric cancer patients through research, treatment, and education program City of Hope, which specializes in treating cancers and blood disorders that occur most often in children and young adults.
What a great way to teach your kids to give back while shopping for holiday baking supplies or groceries!
Halloween Cheesecake Mousse cups are so easy you can get your kids in on the fun of making them.
Can you see my kids crafty ghost face below? The perfectionist in me wanted to smooth out the mouth and eyes. But, I think they did a pretty good job.
I especially loved my 11 year old’s idea to have zombie hands sticking out of the grave using gummy worms.

These easy no-bake Halloween Cheesecake Mousse dessert cups are perfect for a Halloween party table. Let your kids help decorate a mini graveyard or ghost scene for a delicious and spooky treat!
1. Mix cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy
2. Mix in 1/2 of the whipped cream and vanilla
3. Divide the cream cheese mousse mixture into two bowls and color one with 4-5 drops of orange or green food coloring to the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined (You can use any Halloween colors)
4. Repeat food coloring with the remaining whipped cream
5. Layer cheesecake, oreos, and whipped cream in the clear dessert cups
6. Decorate the top with crushed oreos, gummy worms, giant marshmallow with iced on face for a ghost, and Nutter Butters cut in half for a headstone. (I used a plastic bag with a fine cut at one corner to ice "RIP" on the headstones)
