How to Help Your Toddler Develop Their Personality

During this stage there are so many things we can do to help our little toddlers find their personalities.

Granted they won’t know exactly who they are for quite some time.

Here are some ways we are helping our toddler as she develops her personality.

• Toddler Exploration

  As you watch your toddler you will learn so many things about them. For example, my son was very mellow and laid back and my daughter just loves to explore everything. So, to help foster this part of her personality we like to give her lots of thoughtful time to explore the outdoors. Having an outdoor garden is great for exploring! Our Juliana loves smelling the flowers and occasionally trying to pull them out of the pot.

  Just look at that little mind moving. Thinking about what she will explore next!

• Time for Toddler Appropriate Creativity

  All toddler’s show their creative side in a different way. Our son was very musical as a toddler and our daughter loves to draw. A simple activity like chalk on the sidewalk is great for letting her be creative.I like to sit down and draw with her. Then before I know it she is drawing and singing by herself.

• Keep Things Fun for Your Toddler

  In a toddlers world things are best kept fun! We like to try and make our playtime special with fun and comfy clothes! One of the things I’ve learned about my toddler’s personality is that she loves to dress up and look cute.We have loved Doodle Pants because they are stretchy and soft!
