5 Reasons Why Sesame Street Live is Great for Bonding with Toddler

This post is sponsored by FELD Entertainment. All content is my own.

There are so many unique ways you can bond with your toddler.

Fitting in toddler bonding time is a priority for me right now since we are expecting a baby this month.

I want our toddler to feel loved and important before the new baby comes.

This week I took her to see Sesame Street Live and it was a perfect bonding experience for us both.

So, I thought I’d share more about how it can be such a unique bonding experience for you and your toddler, especially if they love Sesame Street.

5 Reasons Why Sesame Street Live is Great for Bonding with Toddler

1. Classic Songs

Did you watch Sesame Street as a child?

One of my favorite things about Sesame Street Live is that they incorporate classic songs like “C is for Cookie”. These are songs I remember singing along to as a little girl!

It was so fun to share that memory with my daughter and sing along with her to songs even I know and love!

2. Favorite Characters

Sesame Street Live includes so many favorite characters! We loved singing along with Elmo, Big Bird, Grover, Rosita, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster.

Our toddler loves Abby Cadabby and was so excited when she finally came out to sing!

3. It’s Interactive

You will have so much fun interacting with the Sesame Street Live characters during the show. They really keep the audience going with dance moves and actions. So, you can dance with your toddler all throughout the show.

During part of the show they have families from the audience come up on stage to interact.

There are also several sensory aspects that make it fun for toddler like snow and sparkly ribbons raining down.

4. Meeting the Characters

If you plan on going to Sesame Street Live make sure to check out the meet and greet activities before the show. It is an extra cost for the meet and great, but sounds worth it since they have activities for your toddler and photo ops.

Our showing didn’t have a meet and greet beforehand, but I really want to take our daughter to this part when we get a chance to see the show again.

5. Making Memories

Activities like this are perfect for making memories with your toddler. Sesame Street Live would make for the perfect Mommy & Me or Daddy & Me date.

We went with the whole family and we’ve all been singing the songs and remembering parts of the show even days after we’ve seen it!

Find out if Sesame Street Live is coming to your city!

Are you planning on seeing Sesame Street Live? Which character would your little one want to see most? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below!
