Creating a baby registry is so fun, it was my favorite part of having a baby all three times. But, the fun really begins when free gifts start arriving—especially the Walmart Baby Registry Box!
I remember how thrilled I was when I first started my registry and started signing up for free baby stuff. Picking out baby essentials made everything feel so real!
While browsing different registry options, I quickly discovered that many offer free welcome boxes filled with baby samples. I thought, “What’s better than baby products? FREE baby products!”
When researching these registry boxes, I noticed that brands would list the kinds of items included, but I wanted to see exactly what came in them. When my Walmart Baby Registry Box arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by some unexpected (and useful) items inside. Let’s take a look at five of the best perks you’ll find!
Getting a Walmart baby box is easy and the steps are much like the other baby registry boxes from Amazon, Babylist, and Target.
These are just examples of what you can get inside your box. Every Walmart Baby Box is different. But, you will receive a mixture of full and sample size items, just like most baby boxes.
Many baby registry boxes include bottle samples. Mei Lei on Facebook shared that she got a free full sized Dr. Brown’s Anti-Colic Bottle and a pacifier in her box.
If you’re wanting to try different bottle types, especially for babies with tummy troubles, these boxes are worth it!
@Mollymook_21 shared her box on Instagram coming with a LEGO duplo toy perfect for when your baby hits toddler age. LEGO’s are so expensive so this is such a nice surprise to save for your baby when they get a little older!
Her box also came with baby food, baby shampoo, and laundry detergent samples as well as coupons.
Having travel-sized essentials like diapers and wipes are perfect for your diaper bag, so you’re always prepared for quick changes. Sample diapers and wipes are a staple of most free baby boxes.
@lovinfee shared their Walmart box that came with a sample size of Water Wipes along with Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water, pacifiers, baby wash, and a Philips Avent bottle.
Inside, you’ll find mini versions of trusted baby care products like CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, Gripe Water, and Vivvi 3-in-1 Face and Body Lotion. These items are great for testing different brands before committing to full-sized purchases and it’s great to have sample sizes to through in a diaper bag or purse.
@welcome_to_thelifeofme shared their box on Instagram coming with full size Johnson’s and Johnson’s baby wash, Shea Moisture lotion and shampoo, and a full size Playtex bottle. You never know if you’re going to get full or sample sizes in your box!
Walmart baby boxes often come with things for new mom and baby laundry. Just like this box from @shalls318 where she got a sample of dreft baby detergent and Palmers Stretch Mark lotion.
While every free baby box is different, the Walmart Baby Registry Box offers some standout items. Although the selection is always changing—they do tend to always include at least one full size item of value along with lots of other samples. The box is completely free with the only requirement that something from your registry is purchased.
If you are purchasing something you already need from your registry and getting the box free it’s definitely worth signing up for!
