April is national frog month! We love story time at our house. So, I thought, why not share with you some cute frog  themed books you can read with your kiddos for story time?

We did go to the library this week, but they didn’t have everything we wanted. Next time we will have some books requested and will share our library book haul with you.

Check out all of the cute frog themed books below and grab a free printable frog reading list and coloring pages!

15 Amazingly Cute Frog Themed Books For Story Time

The Best Children's Frog Books

The cutest frog books for kids. Great read aloud children's picture books all about frogs and tadpoles.

I Don't Want to Be a Frog

The hit book about a willful young frog with a serious identity crisis and his heard-it-all-before father is now available in paperback! Perfect for fans of Mo Willems’s Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and Jon Klassen’s I Want My Hat Back!

The Wide-Mouthed Frog (A Pop-Up Book)

From the Okefenokee Swamp comes a frog with a wide mouth that he just loves to use. He's particularly interested in the eating habits of other creatures found in the great outdoors--that is, of course, until he comes upon a big green one with lots of teeth who finds wide-mouthed frogs simply delicious.

Frog on a Log?

A read-aloud story that will have kids rhyming around the house!

"It's very simple, really. Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools, gophers sit on sofas, and frogs sit on logs."

Fanatical About Frogs (About Animals)

Owen Davey returns with another guide to animals, this time digging into the wonderous world of frogs! Cool illustrations and fun facts give you all a kid could want to know, and more about frogs!

Frogs

How far can frogs jump? Why do their eggs look slimy? Answer these questions and many more in this illustrated introduction to amphibians, and learn about the unique role frogs play in the environment.

So cute! I love frog books. I’m pinning this list so we can work off of it; requesting a few books at a time to enjoy together.
