I was so excited when I found out Torani was making these Puremade sauces! I’ve always loved Torani syrups and couldn’t wait to experiment with the Chocolate Hazelnut sauce in shakes, hot cocoa, and smoothies like this one.
It’s so versatile! Especially for summer drink recipes, which is what our family is craving these days.

Can I freeze this smoothie overnight?
For the best results I would make this smoothie right before serving, so the ingredients don’t separate in the freezer.
This smoothie only takes about 10 minutes to make, so you won’t have to worry about a lot of prep anyways!
How do I make a vanilla smoothie from scratch?
Believe it or not it’s extremely easy to make your own vanilla smoothie from scratch.
…even if you use fresh vanilla beans, which I think makes them taste even more amazing.
This Chocolate Hazelnut Vanilla Bean Smoothie is kid friendly and something my whole family loves.
The recipe below is for 1 serving, but you can easily double it to make 2 servings in the blender… and make it again the same way if you need to make it for more people.
Ingredients:
- 1 Vanilla Bean
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup ice
- 2 tbs sugar or honey
- 2 tbs Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Syrup
- Whipped Cream and Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Syrup to top
Instructions:
- In a blender mix milk, ice, sugar, and Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce until completely blended.
- Pour smoothie into a tall cup.
- Make your smoothie more mouthwatering by drizzling some syrup around the sides of the cup and topping with whipped cream and syrup.
