Goat cheese logs can be served on a platter with pita chips, crackers, soft or hard bread, chips, or on a chartcuterie board with an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, and veggies.
You can serve as an appetizer to snack on while you cook or during the big meal. Goat cheese logs are a crowd pleasing appetizer that look beautiful on any appetizer board or platter.
How do I make the perfect goat cheese log?
This Cranberry Pecan Goat Cheese log recipe is so easy and festive for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years!
If you have all the ingredients you can make it under 20 minutes, no baking necessary!
Ingredients:
- 1 8oz Goat cheese log
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 1 1/2 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tbs cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a medium size bowl mix together pecans, cranberries, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
- Lay a sheet of wax or parchment paper on a cookie sheet or cutting board and place your cheese log in the middle.
- Spoon your pecan mixture on top of the cheese log.
- Use the wax paper to help you roll the nut mixture all over your cheese log.
- Serve on a platter with crackers, bread, or pita chips.
