How can I make the best seven layer bean dip?
This cheesy seven layer bean dip is perfect for celebrating outdoors.
When you make your bean dip make sure you serve the same day. It can keep well in the fridge a few hours before serving. But, it’s best served the same day so the avocados stay fresh and the green onion doesn’t get wilty.
There are…. seven ingredients in this dip, but they are very simple and so is the recipe. Which, makes it perfect for busy moms like me who need something to make in a pinch!
Ingredients:
- 4 Ripe avocados peeled, pitted, and mashed with a little garlic salt, squeeze of lemon juice, and 2 tbs. of salsa
- 1 large can of refried beans
- 1 16 oz container of sour cream
- Pico De Gallo
- 1 Small can of sliced, pitted olives
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped Green Onions
Instructions:
- In a medium size casserole dish start layering your dip. The first layer is refried beans. Spread evenly across the bottom.
- Spread a layer of avocados on top of the beans.
- Add your sour cream on top of the avocados spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top of the sour cream layer.
- Evenly sprinkle pico de gallo, olives, and green onions on top of the shredded cheese
- Serve as soon as possible to keep it fresh!
