We received complimentary passes to Knott’s Soak City to experience and share the grand reopening. All content is my own!
Have you seen the newly expanded Knott’s Soak City?
Last weekend we had the opportunity to attend the grand re-opening at Knott’s Soak City. They re-opened the park for the season and unveiled two new rides!
Knott’s Soak City is located in Buena Park, CA right next to Knott’s Berry Farm!
If you are looking for somewhere to escape and keep your family cool this summer, this is a great place to go! Tons of slides and attractions are available for all ages. I can’t wait to share our experience with you below!
Knott’s Soak City reopened last Saturday morning with the newly reopened Longboard’s Grill and two new rides!
This was such a great event with live music and some fun Knott’s swag. My son loved the Knott’s Soak City backpack and glasses we got.
I was really impressed with how they re-did Longboard’s Grill. With new flooring, fans, and great food: this is a great place to stop with your family to eat at the park.
We had a yummy breakfast! Breakfast burritos, bagels, and yogurt made the perfect start to our day!
Of course one of the most exciting things about the re-opening were the two new rides. We were able to see the ribbon cutting for The Wedge and Shore Break!
These two rides are amazing! The Wedge is a family ride where you can ride a raft down with your whole family.
Shore Break has exciting slides where you stand in a capsule on top of a trap door. There is a countdown, then the door opens and you shoot down the slide. My husband was able to ride this and had a blast!
After the ribbon cutting ceremony we caught up with Snoopy for a few photo’s.
Juliana, our toddler, could not stop hugging him. We definitely got some cute pictures and great memories!
The great thing about Knott’s Soak City is that there are attractions for every age. We mostly stuck to toddler friendly things during the day.
If you have a toddler Gremmie Lagoon is a perfect place for them to play. My 2 year old had no problem climbing up the stairs to go down the slides. Her sweet brother helped make sure she got to the top okay.
Inside the submarine there is a neat hidden slide. We could watch the kids from the port holes to see when they were about to go down the slide.
Also toddler friendly is the lazy river and wave pool. Sitting in the shallow part of the wave pool we could catch waves with our toddler, which she loved!
Planning a trip to Southern California? Looking for a place to stay cool this summer?
Definitely don’t count out Knott’s Soak city. Make sure to try out the new slides while you are there.
If you have little ones make sure to check out the toddler/preschooler friendly attractions!
Don’t forget to apply sunscreen, it can get very hot in Buena Park during the day.
