Make your Millennial Mom Feel Loved This Mother’s Day
Research surveys completed by Zulily showed that millennial moms with newborns and toddlers feel more prepared for motherhood than those with preschool age kids.
These mamas are looking forward to having a special day for them with their families!
Here are some ways you can make them feel special:
- Plan a day of pampering for a mom, maybe even some me time away from the kids!
- Pick up all the household chores for the day. Help your kids make coupon books to do special things for mom later.
- Ask them what they need help with. In Zulily’s survey only 68% of moms shared that they express how they need to be supported.
- Plan a special backyard BBQ or dinner with her favorite dishes to make the celebration special. Have your kids help make the desserts!
- Keep gifts a surprise for mom! Zulily found that 78% of the moms they surveyed wanted to be surprised with their gifts. I’m one of those moms who loves to be surprised too.
- Get them a Zulily gift card to shop themselves. Although moms like a surprise they also love to shop. 48% of moms surveyed by Zulily reported they shop online even more after becoming a mom. Another 46% said they have fun shopping and it makes them feel better. 35% noted that retail therapy is a thing!
