Chinese New Year is always fun to learn about with the kids. We home school, so I like to make it a fun day for them to learn about a different culture.

There are so many things to learn about Chinese New Year, so it’s easy to make a day out of it where your kids can experience the food and learn about all the traditions of this holiday.

When is Chinese New Year 2019?

Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Holiday. This year (2019) Chinese New Year will last February 5th to February 19th. So, about 2 weeks of celebration!

What are some Chinese New Year Kids Activities?

Chinese New Year is so long and there are so many customs and traditions involved that it’s a fun event to use to teach kids about another culture.

As a homeschooling mom I love the opportunity to share with my kids some of the food and culture from China during Chinese New Year.

We usually spend a day on it and the kids have a lot of fun!

Easy Potstickers | Chinese New Year Food Tasting

It’s really easy to include authentic Asian food to our Chinese New Year day with Ling Ling Potstickers.

I usually pick them up when I go to Costco or Smart and Final! They are very easy to make and actually taste amazing too.

One bag comes with a lot so they are really easy to make them for the kids or whole family so you can experience authentic food on Chinese New Year together.

We love their chicken Potstickers, but they also make them with pork and vegetarian. Right out of the bag they are super simple to cook and only take me about 15 minutes to get ready.

My kids love dipping them in Ling Ling’s signature sauce that comes with in the bag. We all love that Ling Ling makes their Potstickers with high quality ingredients that are freshly sourced, so we are getting the real thing!

To complete your Chinese New Year food tasting it’s so easy to pair Ling Ling Potstickers with an easy rice or Ling Ling Spring Rolls which are just as tasty!
