Have you tried glamping?

I’ve been fascinated with the idea of glamping lately. I have fond memories of camping with my family the rough and rugged way. But, why not glam the experience up as much as you can?

Camping with the luxuries of home sounds right down my alley. I’m sure my family would appreciate it too.

I’ve been doing some research into planning a summer glamping trip. So, I thought it would be a great time to share with you how to plan a glamping trip for your family on a budget!

    Rent an RV or trailer

If owning an RV or trailer isn’t in your budget you may want to consider renting. Having a trailer or RV gives you the ability to bring comforts like a kitchen, bathroom, and beds with you on your camping trip!

  • Bring things that make you comfy from home

There is no need to go out and buy fancy sleeping bags. Especially if you are in an RV or trailer. Pack up your favorite blanket and pillow from home. You will definitely feel more like you are sleeping in your own bed!

Kids can bring their favorite stuffed animals, blankets, and board games to make the camp site feel more like home.

  • Plan Family Favorite Meals

If you have access to a kitchen in your RV or Trailer why not plan out family favorite meals to make while you’re there? Stock up an ice chest or your RV mini fridge with ingredients for easy meals that your family will love! No need to stick to a camping diet of hot dogs. But, also cheaper than leaving your camp site to eat out!

  • Stock up on Glamping Essentials

For the camping essentials you do need to buy, utilize subscription services and coupons. I love using Amazon Prime! We are able to stock up on our glamping essentials like Scott Rapid-Dissolving toilet paper made especially for RV and boat use! How to Plan a Family Glamping Trip on a Budget | Camp with Comfort!

Honestly, I think it’s a good idea to bring toilet paper along on any trip, camping or not. You just never know when you may need it and it’s better to be caught with a roll! How to Plan a Family Glamping Trip on a Budget | Camp with Comfort!

Scott Rapid-Dissolving toilet paper is made for RV use, but just as sturdy as every day toilet paper. It’s so convenient to buy on Amazon in bulk! Plus if you are a saver like me you will definitely want to take advantage of the  $2.50 off coupon for any Scott toilet paper with even more savings for subscribing. How to Plan a Family Glamping Trip on a Budget | Camp with Comfort!
