There is nothing better than the feeling of having a happy family home!

Creating a happy home not only spreads happiness to your family, but to the friends and family that visit it.

I remember visiting my grandma’s house as a child and always thinking of her house as a happy home.

It was warm, cozy, and always smelled a certain way.

…and I loved the way her house smelled and the comforting feeling I got when I visited.

Recreating that feeling in our home is important to me. So, my kids feel that cozy happy feeling and our guests feel the same.

How can I bring happiness to my home?

Make it warm and inviting– I love making my home warm and inviting year round. But, especially during the winter season. Keeping a throw blanket on the sofa and a fire in the fireplace makes it feel more homey and relaxing.

Keep it smelling fresh– A home always feels extra cozy when it smells good.

This weekend I took my little helpers with me and we went to Sam’s Club to stock up on items to make our home smell extra good for guests.

Warehouse shopping with my 3 year old is always a fun adventure.

Sam’s Club has great deals on all the essentials we need for hosting in our home, like Febreze Plugs. The Sam’s Club pack comes with two plugs and four refills, 6 months worth of freshness!

That’s enough to keep your home fresh throughout the year. While other plug ins fade fast Febreze lasts 1200 Hours *, which is amazing!

Febreze plugs are great because they come in the best scents that stay fresh for a long time. My favorite is Mediterranean Lavender.

I like to put ours in high traffic areas of our home like the living room and restroom. So, everyone can smell the fresh scents.

Visit Sam’s Club to stock up on Febreze Plugs today!

Add personal touches– If you have overnight guests add personal touches like a WiFi password in their room, fresh towels on their bed, and a small bowl of movie night snacks.

Don’t Overdo It– What’s a home without a little clutter. Whether you have a family with small kids coming or are trying to make a cozy home for your kids, don’t stress a little clutter.

Your kids will feel happy in a home that’s lived in and your guests with small kids won’t worry about their kids playing freely in a home where kids obviously live and play.
