This is a sponsored post written by me for DiaResQ®, a great product we love to keep on hand in our family road trip kit!

When you’re travelling with kids it’s best to be prepared with some kind of family road trip kit.

These are great to have even when you aren’t travelling.

Whether you are on vacation or 40 minutes from home at an all-day dance competition or soccer game, sometimes you need road trip essentials to keep the kids entertained or comfortable.

Why should you have a good travel kit?

You never know what will happen while you’re travelling or on the road.

It’s always good to have things on hand you may need, so you won’t have to go looking for it in a pinch.

There are always those times when you or your kids really need something, but you aren’t near a store.

What’s the best thing to put in your travel kit?

The most important things you can keep in your travel kit are items you know you will need in tough situations.

It’s so hard to have diarrhea on the road, especially if one of the kids has it, so we like to keep DiaResQ in our emergency basket.

We stick our basket in the middle row of our van so it’s easy to get to.

Diarrhea can ruin a whole trip, whether it’s one of the parents or kids who gets it. The last place you want to be on a road trip is stuck at a rest stop, in a hotel room all day, or not being able to locate a bathroom for your kids.

DiaResQ is great because it works differently than most anti-diarrhea medications. Instead of trying to slow down your gut movement for temporary relief, it actually works with your body to relieve the issue and not leave you with unexpected side effects.

As a mom I love that DiaResQ is made with natural ingredients and is free of any drugs or antibiotics. They make two different kinds for both adults and kids.

Childrens DiaResQ is safe to give to kids age 1 and up. Which is great because it can be so hard when little ones are sick with tummy troubles.

You can find DiaResQ at Walmart, CVS, Amazon and other retailers nationwide!

  • Small card or board game
  • Children’s Books
  • Napkins and/or wipes
  • Flashlight
  • Heavy duty tape
