Since there is a fair share of stress and anxiety in my family history I figure it can’t hurt to make self affirmation a priority for our kids starting at an early age. We are actually making daily affirmations one of our family goals.
In teaching your kids positive affirmations you are helping them grow their self love and Worth.
This helps them to love And respect themselves daily as well as others.
You should Get your child into the habit of using positive affirmations on a regular basis.
Try to make them a habit or routine in your home. Saying positive affirmations daily or every time you do something challenging.
Teach your children to use positive affirmations whenever they are feeling negative, sad, or have a bad mindset.
There are many studies that show the benefit of positive affirmations for kids. For instance, the study I mentioned above discusses the benefits of positive affirmations for dealing with high stress situations.
The Journal of School Psychology found in their study that disadvantaged students had a higher likelihood to have a positive effect on school achievement when using daily affirmations, which would carry into college.
Of course, these are just a few examples of the many ways positive affirmations can help kids.
Teach your kids to start the day with a few of these morning affirmations.
Just in case you were wondering. Yes, you should also get in the habit of telling your kids positive affirmations.
It feels good for them to hear words of encouragement from you and helps you raise confident kids.

It's hard to remember to speak positively to yourself. This is something I struggle with as a mom. But, when you start teaching your kids these habits young I can only imagine it will help them immensely when they grow up.
