Isn’t Halloween the funnest time to make sweet treats? I love making spooky desserts like my cheesecake mousse cups and orange cookies for my kids.
We have a Halloween party at grandma’s house every year and these dessert cups are my go-to.
You can make them literally the day of Halloween in 10-20 minutes. So, you’ll still have time for pumpkin carving, costume prep, and more Halloween fun.
What food can I put on a Halloween dessert table?

How do you make Halloween Cheesecake Mouse?
Halloween Cheesecake Mousse cups are so easy you can get your kids in on the fun of making them.
Can you see my kids crafty ghost face below? The perfectionist in me wanted to smooth out the mouth and eyes. But, I think they did a pretty good job.
I especially loved my 11 year old’s idea to have zombie hands sticking out of the grave using gummy worms.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Oreo cookies crushed
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 16 oz whipped cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package of gummy worms
- 1 package of Nutter Butter cookies
- Green and Orange food coloring
- Black icing
- Giant marshmallows
Instructions:
- Mix cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy
- Mix in 1/2 of the whipped cream and vanilla
- Divide the cream cheese mousse mixture into two bowls and color one with 4-5 drops of orange or green food coloring to the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined (You can use any Halloween colors)
- Repeat food coloring with the remaining whipped cream
- Layer cheesecake, oreos, and whipped cream in the clear dessert cups
- Decorate the top with crushed oreos, gummy worms, giant marshmallow with iced on face for a ghost, and Nutter Butters cut in half for a headstone. (I used a plastic bag with a fine cut at one corner to ice “RIP” on the headstones)
