Our toddler Juliana is getting so big and starting to have some really good play sessions on her own.
I love picking out toys for her that allow her to explore her creativity and have opportunities for solo play. Not only does it allow her imagination to grow, but it’s fun for me to quietly watch her while I get some writing done.

Toddler Solo Play With RockABye Rockers
Whenever my toddler is playing solo she likes to have music and a dress on. She will bring me dresses from her closet to put on and likes to change into different ones throughout the day. I recently ordered her some tutus to wear because she loves dancing around so much and they are easy to put on if she’s wearing jeans.
When I found out about RockABye rockers I was so excited because they had a pink ballerina hippo, called Gracie the hippo, that I just knew she would love.
It’s the cutest rocker I’ve ever seen. She was ecstatic when we got it delivered to our door step, big and pink, with a purple tutu and bow. Immediately she wanted to wear one of her tutu’s and play with it.
This turned out to be great for solo play because it plays songs too. She danced around the hippo and kept pressing the buttons for it to play more songs. It plays 4 songs in all and they are very cute!
Juliana loved climbing on her back and got the hang of rocking very quickly. It was so cute to watch her because she kept hugging her hippo and lounging on her.
It’s safe to say that this is one of her new favorite toys/best friends. I love it because it helps her have some imaginative self play and fits her personality perfectly.
These rockers are sturdy and made with quality wood and fabric here in USA. RockABye also wrote, composed, and performed all of the original songs in the rocker, which makes them very unique!
Does your toddler love solo play? Which RockABye rocker would they love most? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!
