Our trip was hosted by Knott’s Berry Farm. All content is my own.
Visiting sunny Southern California this summer? Don’t rule out Knott’s Berry Farm.
One of my most pleasant travel experiences this summer was our day at Knott’s Berry Farm!
The park atmosphere and entertainment far exceeded my expectations. It was delightful to see all they had in store for families and I have to say our kids had smiles on their faces all day!
I’m so excited to share with you some reasons your kids will love visiting Knott’s this summer!
Why Your Kids Will Love Summer at Knott’s Berry Farm
Ghost Town Alive
You’re family won’t want to miss Ghost Town Alive! This interactive experience takes place in the Ghost Town at Knott’s Berry Farm.Ghost Town Alive blew me away from beginning to end. They really put a lot of effort into creating a wild west atmosphere where the characters have stories and interact with the whole family!
While we were walking into the Ghost Town there was a funny guy in his long johns asking my kids questions. They loved it! Even my toddler was pointing and looking at him.
As you walk in you notice people in costume, locked in prison, they are even making things at the blacksmith.
A photo scavenger hunt takes you through Ghost Town Alive! Teachers at the Ghost Town school house teach you a little about how kids would learn in the old days. They really interact with your kids too!
Your kids will love the livery stable where they can actually get to know the horses and pet them.
Stop at the Gazette office to get your own copy of the newspaper!
Watch out, you might find yourself locked in jail!
We were enlisted by the Sheriff’s deputy to retrieve a $5,000 delivery from the train.
This delivery was guarded all the way back to the bank!
As a reward for safely delivering the money, these youngsters all got sworn in as sheriffs deputies.

Knott’s Berry Farm Shows
Knott’s has some amazing shows going on this summer. We had a chance to see the new Snoopy’s Magnificent Magical Revue show up close.
My kids loved the magic in this show and that they got to see all their favorite Peanuts characters.
Some parts of the show are pretty funny too. It was great that Snoopy was a focus of the show, he is our favorite!
Tip- Get to this show early for good seating!
If you have time it’s definitely worthwhile to take a break in the saloon for the Calico Saloon Show. My son loved that they served old fashioned sarsaparilla and it was fun seeing the dancing and singing.
Other shows you won’t want to miss include the Circus of Wonders with real acrobats and Wild West Stunt Show!
With all these events going on at Knott’s Berry Farm your kids are sure to have a blast!
