My kids love it when I bake fall recipes. I love making mini handheld treats for them like my Mini Apple Pie Bites.

Fall baking is probably their favorite part of going into the holidays. Smelling sweet smells coming out of the kitchen, sometimes getting in to help, and being the first to taste test the yummy desserts that come out.

Since I have three kiddos I’ve tried to simplify some of my favorites. So, they are quick and easy to make, but just as delicious.

What are the best apples for making pies?

Honeybear Brands has the most crisp, large, and delicious apples for making apple pies, mini or full-sized.

We love using their Gala (sweet & delicious) or Honeycrisp (perfect mix between sweet and tangy) apples. Especially right now because they have the cutest “All the Feels” apples with fun emoji stickers that my kids love!

The emojis represent all the feelings you get when eating apples, which is so true.

Is it necessary to peel apples for pie?

It is a good idea to peel your apples for apple pie and for these mini bite-sized pies.

You’ll want your apples to be nice and soft in your pie, which would be easier to accomplish without the peel.

How can I make the best mini apple pies?

Your kids will love these mini apple pie bites and so will you! They are super easy to make and come out really fluffy with the croissant dough.

I love to drizzle them with glaze afterwards to make them extra yummy. My kids love frosting! Who doesn’t?

The glaze makes these mini pies look so pretty. You could really make them to serve at a holiday dinner or party for an easy and beautiful dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Gala or Honeycrisp Apples (We used Honeybear Honeycrisp Apples)
  • Store Bought Crescent Roll Dough

  • 1/2 tbs cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

For Glaze:
