Now that we have a preschooler I’ve been searching for fun preschool games and board games.
Games are SOOOO good for preschool learning. They give your preschooler one-on-one time to build a parent-child relationship/family bond AND will help your little one learn how to work as a team.
Some preschool games are educational and help your kids with reading, spelling, counting, and more!

What games do preschoolers play?
Your preschooler will love love playing games. Preschool play is so important!
I’m sure if you have a preschooler you hear “Mommy play with me?” a billion times per day.
Make sure you stop, listen, and take some time to really focus on them and play (unplugged) for at least 10-30 minutes per day, if not more!
The American Academy of Pediatrics really stresses the importance of play to all aspects of a child’s development.
Play is important to healthy brain development.

Playing with your Preschooler
I read a really interesting article the other day in the Harvard Business Review that talks about how obsessed people have become with staying busy.
We are, for the most part, overworked and stretched too thin.
People are living increasingly busy lifestyles. So, it can be easy to come up with a list of excuses for not being able to really play with your kids.
…and don’t feel bad here. I’m right there with the rest of you. As a busy work at home mom I find it difficult to find times to play, to wrap my head around letting loose and playing when I have mountains of work, a house to clean, meals to cook, appointments to attend.
But, we NEED to try and do better for our kids. Myself included! Sometimes getting some fun age appropriate games can help facilitate play.
It gives you and the kids something exciting to do together and bond over. Plus it WILL help meet the developmental needs of your preschooler.
