Reading Halloween picture books is a great not-to-scary way to introduce little ones to the holiday! We love Halloween story time at bedtime in October.

There are so many cute Halloween books for kids! Books about witches, pumpkins, ghosts, and bats!

Make Halloween Story Time Fun!

Here are some tips to make your Halloween story time fun:

  • Have your toddler/preschooler pick a story book character to dress up as for Halloween
  • Make a Haloween snack for story time
  • Make it a tradition to read Halloween stories each year
  • Start a family goal to read a certain amount of books for the month of October

Check out some of our favorite Halloween books below!
